Pauatahanui Burial Grounds

I would pronounce that as it’s spelled .. Pa-ua-ta-ha-nui .. but apparently it sounds more like “Paitahanui”. We, myself and a 2 other from the Photography Club I’m a member of, went there a few weeks back for a photo walk. The burial grounds is one of the oldest in the region. We went there one sunny afternoon to take photos. As photography enthusiasts, we (and I, of course) believe that you can find beauty in anything – and … amidst all the grey concrete slabs that only serve as a marker for people who once graced the earth – that is exactly what we found. Here are some of the photos I took from that weekend walk.

However, my most favourite image from that little excursion is the one below.

Have a great rest of the week everyone!

That's not exactly a flattering image. Eh! Anyway, when I'm not taking photos, I do acrylic painting or write about my adventures (and misadventures) in this wonderful journey called life. :)
